Simple tips to adjust, test, and troubleshoot your Nuropod device safely, with guidance to contact support if needed.

Earpiece slipping off

Nuropod earpiece is designed to be adjustable for a secure fit. Simply adjust the earpiece’s malleable section for a custom fit by gently squeezing the thicker portion of the cord to mould it to your ear. Additionally, ensure the electrode is properly placed on the tragus of your ear for optimal functionality.

Not feeling any stimulation

To test whether the device and earpiece are working correctly:

  1. Place the earpiece on your little finger with the gold plates in contact with your skin just below your nail.

  2. Gradually increase the intensity to feel the sensation.

If you don’t feel any stimulation, follow this protocol:

  • Set the device to level 5 and run it for 5 minutes.

  • Slowly increase the intensity by 1 level per second until you feel a mild tingling.

  • Ensure the electrode and surrounding skin are clean and free from dirt, oils, or lotions, as this can affect stimulation.

  • Verify that the earpiece cable is securely connected and shows no visible damage. Inspect for signs of peeling or wear.

Before reaching out, you may also try resetting the device by pressing and holding the "Power" and "-" buttons simultaneously for five seconds. Successful resets are indicated by two vibrations and two screen flashes.

Issues with charger

If you believe there’s an issue with the charger, here’s how to check it:

  1. Plug the charging cable into a USB wall adapter and connect it to a wall socket.

  2. Ensure that the gold contacts on the device and charging cable are firmly connected.

  3. Look for the white dots on the display and a blue LED light to confirm charging.

Remember: These are simple steps designed to help you adjust Nuropod device to your liking or test to see if there are any issues with your device. Under no circumstances should you attempt to repair your device by opening the device to inspect for yourself or adjust the wiring.
